Stewpot's Red Beans and Rice Celebration has become one of Jackson's most anticipated family fun festivals. Each year, 15-20 restaurants, congregations, professionals, and individuals vie for the coveted title of Best Red Beans & Rice Recipe in the Jackson Metro Area, decided on by a People’s Choice vote.
Planned by a hardworking committee of volunteers and sponsored by the great corporate citizens of the Jackson Metro area. This family festival offers good, clean fun, for everyone!
Music is one of the many highlights of the event. Past performers include Marcia Ball, Hunter Gibson & The Gators, Chris Gill & The Soul Shakers, Eddie Cotton, Colour Revolt, The Vamps, Dave Jordan and the Neighborhood Association Band, The Red Hots, Drivin' N Cryin', The Mulligan Brothers and many others. This year will be a year to remember.
